Our lodge is a true Ecolodge. We focus on:
- Helping guests gain a connection to nature and to the local nomadic community.
- Creating a warm and social environment (many guests come back again and again). Come join us!

- Food is all inclusive, focus on homegrown and wild, Tibetan and international food with local ingredients.
- All stays include free short activities like meditation, sauna, and stargazing
- Room cost is CNY1280/$185 for the each of the first two nights, with 3 meals, for 2 people. Subsequent nights are Y990/$142.
- Single rooms are CNY1080/$155 and CNY880/$125 for each night after the first two.
- If you stay at least 2 nights you can add on a workshops, horse rides, hikes, and tour package. (This package is subsidized by the room cost, and is much cheaper than usual, so take advantage!)
- Dorm is CNY380/$55 with meals, and can include the activity package
- Overnight treks and nomad homestays provide a 15% discount on Ecolodge rooms and beds.
ROOMS
Fire Room. Painted with mystical animals. Panoramic mountain views. 2 single beds or 1 king. Possible to add a floor bed in a pinch.
Wind Room. Painted with local birds. Panoramic mountain views. 1 queen bed. Possible to comfortably add a floor bed. Small room but cozy.
Water Room. Painted with fish and water gods. Panoramic mountain views. 2 singles or 1 king. Cannot add floor beds.
Earth Room. Painted with snow leopards and gazelles. Quiet grassland views. 2 singles or 1 king. Can add 1 or 2 floor beds.
Dorm. On the first floor next to the sauna. 6 beds. Bathroom and shower are outside of the room. Mountain views. Community feel.
There is a 20% discount for volunteers who do at least 2 hours work and further discount for more work is possible. There is also a 15% discount for all overnight trekkers and people doing homestays with nomads (or tentstays). Book your trek or homestay first to get a discount code. Volunteers are also eligible to buy the activity package.
Please be aware that water is sometimes not hot in the showers (if it has been raining a lot and there are lots of guests) and warm bathing is only available in the sauna, Finnish fashion.
We do not take reservations through any large booking sites; we only accept direct bookings. This keeps our services more personal, and it keeps costs down so we can offer the best quality to guests. We prefer to keep money local.
