How to get here?
From Chengdu:
Bus at 7 AM from Xinnanmen bus station all the way to Tagong. Bus final destination is Daofu. (160 yuan per person). We can meet you in Tagong, 60 yuan.
OR
Bus from Xinnanmen bus station to Kangding,(135 per person, 7-9 hours) then a car from Kangding (260 yuan for the whole car, 2.5 hours). We have to book the private car in advance and require advance payment.
OR
Private car from Chengdu to here (door to door, 1100-1500 yuan total). This takes about 6 hours, on the new highway as far as Kangding. Also requires advance planning and payment.
OR
Take the bus, stay the night in Kangding, and find a shared minivan the next morning (50 yuan per person).
From Kangding to Tagong:
Take a bus to Tagong from the bus stop across from the bus station, 8 AM and 3 PM, 20 yuan per person. Be there 30 minutes early (3.5 hours ride).
OR
Take a shared minivan from 10 AM to about 1 PM, from the Buxingjie. It takes 2 hours, and 50 yuan per person, and you have to wait for the car to fill up.
OR
Take a private taxi for 200 yuan to Tagong plus 60 yuan to Ecolodge. We can arrange and this is ok anytime, and can pickup at your hotel. We need advance notice (1 night), but not advance payment.
From Tagong to Ecolodge:
Take an informal taxi for 60 yuan, from near the police station on the Tagong Temple square *** not the Golden Stupa, the Tagong Temple

Walk over the hills following the Openstreet Map. (2-3 hours, 8 kms)
