KHAMPA HERDERS make a large variety of horse and yak saddle pads. Saddle pads are in factory-made felt, leather, and woven yak-hair tops. Bottoms are made of handmade Tibetan wool felt. The black yak hair saddle pads are made from used tent fabric, the oldest bottommost strip, which is removed each year when the uppermost strip is renewed.
